Mahalo for adhering to our agreements while you are here in order to co-create a sacred container for us all.

The Ohana Agreements are…

~to tell the truth and to keep it current

~to be present and supportive of one another as Ohana.  

~to collaborate each day as co-creators contributing to tasks and fulfilling roles that are necessary for the nurturing of our Ohana and for the facilitation of our learning and healing center.

~to cleanse and check all greens for slugs(slugs can be as small as your pinky finger nail) in order to prevent rat lung worm disease 

~ to not be verbally or physically violent with one’s self or another person and to use soulution-based communication in the place of complaints — all are encouraged to express freely in heart share space held each week.

~to keep each space (personal and communal) orderly, clean, and “shanty”—functional, beautiful and welcoming

~if conflict arises we take it out of the common space 

~to partake in food from our ʻĀina , (ʻĀina means the ‘place which feeds us’) which includes our Homestead, our Renenerative Ag Farm, our Tropical fruit orchards, our larger neighborhood of orchards and gardens, or at least from the Island of Hawai’i. We intend to be factory free, trash free, plastics free 

~to not kill animals at the homestead(we use fences and rock walls to maintain a boundary with the pigs.)  pigs are killed at the farm for the purpose of keeping the population of pigs down on the island

~to ask Clive or Brandon about doing any project in the shop or on the ʻĀina , no power equipment is allowed to be used without permission

~to be nice, to be kind and to be loving 

~to not use artificially scented soaps, only essential oils

~to welcome visitors by invitation only, please communicate with community about possible visitors

~to get permission before sharing photos of the homestead or farm 

~to not use technological devices in the hearth(coco hale) or healing space(hau hale) the space for technology, office/cell phone station is in the shop and garage

~ to let all know if one wishes to partake in plant medicine, to set intention, location, awareness.

~to smoke only on the driveway, or in designated smoking area on the land

~alcohol consumption on the property is limited to home-made ferments

~to stay tending to any fire, stove, candle etc at all times. Do not leave flames unattended.
